• Active PA state license required
• Must be Board Certified
• Minimum # Years Experience: 1
• DEA Required
• Certifications Required: ACLS; BLS
• Coverage Need: Mon-Fri 7:30a-5p, no call expected. Non-invasive inpatient cardiologist to cover inpatient rounding, supported by APPs as well as testing to include supervision of stress testing, and reading EKGs, holter/event monitors, stress tests and echo.
• Estimated Shifts/Month: 20
• Providers Typical Day: Shared rounding and inpatient cardiology consults with physician/inpatient APP providers. Inpatient testing shared with the group and assigned in advance during usual hospital hours. This includes reading of echocardiograms and stress tests.
• Other Job Notes: APP/Mid-Level coverage available 7a-4:30p. Respond to APP calls Telephone/Pager. Avg IP 20-25 per day shared with group. Avg Consults 10 also shared with group.
• Typical Cases Seen: CHF, CP, MI, Afib, hypertensive urgency
• Travel Covered: Mileage (Personal Vehicle); Airfare; Lodging; Parking; Rental Car & Fuel; Ground Transportation
