Job Highlights:

• Schedule:
  • Hospital coverage: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
  • Call: 3:30 PM–8:00 AM (30-minute response time)
  • Low call-back volume (average 2 admissions during call).
• Responsibilities:
  • Performing TEEs and cardioversions for inpatients.
  • New patient consults
  • Assist from an APP available
• Setting:
  • Hospital only (no clinic coverage)
  • Solo work environment
  • EMR: Epic

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Active Maryland medical license or ability to obtain one (IMLC considered but must be licensed prior to credentialing)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Proficiency with TEEs and cardioversion is essential

Additional Details:

• Temporary privileges available (credentialing takes ~60 days)
• Travel and lodging provided
