Cardiac Intensivist needed in Tulsa OK
Full time, permanent
- Join an elite team of Cardiac Intensivists as we look to build the only comprehensive acute and durable mechanical circulatory support and cardiovascular intensive care unit in Oklahoma. Integrated within St Francis Heart & Vascular Institute.
- Cardiac Intensivist led ECMO/Shock program including cannulation for V-A/V-V ECMO and percutaneous RVADs.
- 160-bed Heart and Vascular institute located on the main campus of 1,112-bed tertiary care center
- 2023-2024 U.S. News and World Report named the Saint Francis Heart and Vascular Institute a High Performing Hospital in areas of Heart Failure, Heart Attack, and Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair
- Collaborative cardiovascular services to include LVAD/Transplant surgeon, CVT surgeons, electrophysiology, cath lab, cardiac imaging and structural heart and valve center (TAVR, MitraClip, ASD/ PFO closure, VSD closure, Left Atrial Appendage Closure)
- 7 on/7 off schedule with highly trained and functional APP support

High-Level Skills Preferred
Management of the entire cardiac ECMO process to include VV ECMO, VA ECMO, ECMO cannulation/decannulation and patient
retrieval/transport. Experience caring for the following critically ill patient populations to include: post cardiotomy CS patients, cardiogenic shock patients, pre/post
MCS device implantation patients, as well as, patients in severe ARDS.
