As a Community Cardiologist or General Cardiologist you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will be a part of a growing team of Cardiologists needed to expand cardiac care for our growing community cardiology program.
This position will help build consultative inpatient service and expand outpatient clinic access, Monday-Friday with no call, holidays, and weekends.
We have open positions at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT and Alta View Hospital in Sandy, UT. There will be occasional rotations of shifts at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT.
Practice Information:
Transesophageal echo skills preferred. Potential for SPECT reads and coronary CTA training if desired
Robust cardiology team supported by state of the art care with ambition and resources to continue to grow our system’s established electrophysiology, advanced imaging, structural heart, and heart failure programs
We have large referral networks of general medicine practitioners and are supported locally by a robust spectrum of subspecialties
Close association with additional cutting edge advanced cardiac care for our patients including structural heart intervention, LVAD, and transplant within our network in Salt Lake City
Robust cardiothoracic surgery program
Full and consistently expanding Advanced Practice Provider (APP), a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant support

What you’ll bring:
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Cardiology, Cardiovascular and/or related board certification
Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license
U.S. ACGME Residency
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
