Cardiology Inpatient/Academic opening in Hartford, CT
- **Position:** Full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist
- Permanent position
Position Highlights:
- **Inpatient Role:** Provide consultative and follow-up care to patients transferred from any of our 7 acute care network hospitals.
- **Consultation Services:** Work closely with clinical faculty and referring physicians at Hartford Hospital and Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.
- **Patient Care:** Evaluate new admissions, collaborate on in-hospital care, and ensure transitional care for patients with heart-related conditions.
- **Teaching Opportunities:** Engage in clinical, research, and teaching activities with fellows and the clinical cardiology team as part of our Heart & Vascular Institute.
- **Team Collaboration:** Partner with Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers and sub-specialists in Advanced Heart Failure, Structural Heart, Interventional, Electrophysiology, and Cardiac Surgery.
Job Qualifications:
- BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine and Echocardiography
- CT License or eligibility
- Proficiency in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography; nuclear cardiology certification preferred
