The Providence Heart Institute in Oregon is seeking a part-time (0.6 FTE) board eligible-certified general cardiologist to join our team at the Providence Hood River Heart Clinic. Primary clinical responsibilities include a busy outpatient clinic and supervision of outpatient hospital procedures. Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital has 25 beds with an active medical staff of more than 160 providers. A full complement of non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing is available on-site. The Cardiology practice in Hood River includes an established General Cardiologist, an experienced physician assistant and office staff. The Cardiologists will work closely and collaboratively with a large group of Cardiologists and Cardiac and Vascular Surgeons based in Portland as well as a multi-specialty group of providers in Hood River. This is a unique opportunity to practice in a community with unparalleled access to outdoor recreation and natural beauty, while being connected to a world class Heart Institute.

Where You’ll Work
The Providence Heart Institute is an integrated cardiovascular service line with more than 80 specialists serving hospital and clinic locations throughout Oregon and southwest Washington. In addition, the program is a hub for vast data registries in cardiovascular care, including the Center for Cardiovascular Analytics, Research and Data Science (CARDS). This state-of-the-art institute is a leader in new therapies, and consistently receives national recognition, including the American Heart Association’s “Get With The Guidelines” designation for coronary artery disease care.
