Dignity Health Medical Group - Bakersfield, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is a multi-specialty group affiliated with Bakersfield Memorial Hospital and Mercy Hospitals. We are seeking an additional, enthusiastic, experienced General Cardiologist to join our cardiology service.

Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Diagnostic Procedures: Order and interpret tests; collaborate with specialists for further evaluation.
- Team Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
- Quality Improvement: Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
- Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.
Qualifications
- A valid and unrestricted California medical license
- Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
Pay Range
$202.00 - $247.00 /hour
