We are looking for a Locums Cardiology Physician to join our team in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. This position is primarily outpatient, with occasional requests for inpatient consultations. You will see a daily patient volume of 10-13, consisting of both new patients and follow-ups, all within the adult and geriatric population. Inpatient consultations will be minimal, typically around 0-1 per day.

The physician will be responsible for performing a variety of procedures, including Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), Electrical Cardioversions, and Electrocardiograms (EKGs). The practice uses Meditech Expanse as its documentation system, so familiarity with this or similar systems would be an asset.

The shift is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Active Massachusetts medical license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Experience and proficiency in performing TEEs, EKGs, and Electrical Cardioversions
