Healthcare Organization: A 407-bed HCA hospital system comprised of two acute care hospitals as well as two free standing emergency departments.
Opportunity: Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant
*Full-time permanent position
*Mixed schedule with rotating weekends
*2 or more years’ experience with all routine heart surgery procedures and thoracic procedures
*Possess understanding of clinic follow ups and post op outpatient care
*Exposure to minimally invasive procedures a plus
*Experience in EVH and 1st assist in surgery required
*APP will be responsible for daily rounding on patients pre and post-operatively as well as conducting follow-up assessments in the clinic
*Expected call schedule of 1:3
