Non-invasive Cardiologist needed
Please make sure the provider will be able to privileges for TEEs Nuclear Stress Test and Echo's as well as case logs.
We are seeking providers that will cover daily rounds, night call and weekend call with rounds for both Hospitals. The providers will need to request privileges for performing TEE’s, reading Nuclear Stress Test and Echo’s. Case logs will be required to support the requests. Our practice is experiencing a severe time crunch as we need immediate coverage starting 2.01.24. We will need to have the process of approvals expedited. The candidate will need to be ready and be responsive to the requests for documentation. This is an assignment that will be from 2.01.24 through 02.01.25 to start.

Provider's experience level with EPIC
• How many patients to be seen every day? This is determined based on hospital inpatient census and how many additional providers have availability to assist. It also varies if the Locums is performing TEE’s. Hospital census has been running around 20-25 patients per day and we have 2 NP’s and residents assigned to rounding coverage. TEE’s 1-2 daily.
• Is Rounding in both hospitals every day? Weekday rounding is scheduled ahead of time for Monday-Friday 7a-5p at both Hospital and is determined by need for coverage (not both locations at the same time).
• We just wanted to clarify that the call will be phone and epic only. Night Call is only phone calls. (Monday – Thursday 5p-7a) Weekend Call includes phone calls and Rounding, both Saturday and Sunday at both Hospitals. All Call includes calls from both Hospitals. Weekend Rounding and Call is ( Friday 5p through Monday 7a) Shifts are Friday Night, Saturday Night, and Sunday Night 5p-7a. Saturday and Sunday are each 7a-5p.
