Providence is hiring a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified General Cardiologist to join the greater dedicated team of fourteen other cardiologists and three cardiothoracic surgeons at the Heart Institute of Montana. This opportunity will be located in Butte & Dillon Montana. Seeking someone with a passion for outreach and serving rural locations with the exciting opportunity to build this program. This position will be a General Cardiologist providing 4 days a week coverage in ambulatory cardiology clinics located in Dillon, Montana on the campus of Barrett Hospital and Healthcare and Butte, Montana located on the campus of St James Intermountain Health. Dillon will be the home location for this position with Butte as an outreach site with the clinic rotation to be determined with the successful candidate. The expectations of the position are specific on each campus and may include but are not limited to supervision and interpretation of echo’s, stress echo’s, and heart rhythm monitors. Supervision of Device Clinic appointments, and Ambulatory NP and Follow Up cardiology appointments. This position requires the ability to represent the Providence Heart Institute as both a cardiac care provider, and an ambassador for our programs. Providing education to peers in rural communities is essential to the team building aspect of this position. The position will be supported by peers in Missoula, Butte and Hamilton. This position is not a hospital position and does not have call. Although there is an opportunity to support those functions, it is not a requirement.
