Swedish Cherry Hill is the largest provider of cardiovascular care in the Puget Sound Region, boasting well-established programs in cardiovascular subspecialties and a robust clinical research program. Our campus features the largest Cardiovascular Surgery program in the Northwest, a highly specialized interventional program with CHiP and Structural Heart, as well as PERT and Shock Response Teams. Our ECMO program, now in its 10th year, is administered by Advanced Heart Failure Physicians in a dedicated Cardiovascular ICU with 24-hour on-site Critical Care Intensivist support. It is the only ELSO Gold certified and DNV certified program in Washington State, with survival rates exceeding national averages. Our DT-LVAD program, in its 8th year, continues to grow with outcomes aligned with the Momentum III trial. Swedish Cherry Hill has been a leading enroller in numerous clinical trials, including CHAMPION, PARADIGM, PARAGON, PARALLAX, SHIELD II, GUIDE-HF, REDUCE LAP HF, and ALT-FLOW, supported by excellent IRB and research infrastructure. Our Advanced Heart Failure Physicians are at the forefront of using informatics to optimize patient care and modernize care delivery systems. We are seeking a Board Certified Advanced Heart Failure Physician to join our growing, well-supported team at the Swedish Medical Group’s dedicated Advanced Cardiac Support Clinic. Our multidisciplinary team includes five advanced practice clinicians, a dedicated pharmacist, dietician, social worker, and data analyst, all focused on comprehensive heart failure and chronic disease management. We also have robust Genetic, Sarcoid, and Amyloid Programs, with opportunities for innovation and rapid program growth. Position Highlights:
- Inpatient service one week in four, with a minimum of three clinic days per week.
- Solely heart failure/cardiogenic shock/MCS-based practice (1 hour for new appointments, 30 minutes for return appointments).
- Manage ECMO, LVAD, and cardiogenic shock programs.
- 1:4 inpatient team rotation.
- Significant opportunities for research and clinical trials, including leading Physician Initiated Research.
- Dedicated support from a pharmacist, social worker, dietitian, and data analyst.
- Preferred candidates will have 3 to 5 years of experience.
- Compensation is between $400,636 and $642,416 per year
- Compensation may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, and extra shift incentives.
- 10 days of funded CME.
