General Cardiology Locum Opportunity in Minnesota

SCHEDULE :

• MON-FRI 8AM-5PM
• Weekends needed 24 HOURS
• Weeknight call 5PM-8AM

• Practice Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient, Call
• Reason for Coverage: Growth of clinical services and provider departures
• Call Schedule: Q7
• Call Ratio: Q7
• Average Number of Clinic Patients Per Day: 12-14
• Average Number of Inpatient Admissions Per Physician Per Day: Not responsible for direct admissions (handled by hospital), 5-10 consults per day
• Trauma Level/Designation: Level 1
• Number of Cardiologists Physician in Group: 17
• Will Other Cardiologists be Present During our Locum's Coverage? Yes
• Will the Locum Physician be Required to Supervise Other Health Care Providers?: APPs will support rounding, and will need supervision; also supervise stress tests cardiac rehab as needed
• Patient Age Demographic: Adult
• Documentation System/EMR: Epic
• Prefers local candidates or physicians that are already licensed in MN.

• Echocardiography
• Transesophageal Echocardiography
• Electrical Cardioversions
• Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
• Treadmill Stress Tests
• Chemical Stress Tests
• Echocardiography
• Transesophageal Echocardiography

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS :

• Board Certified or Board Eligible - Required
• ACLS - Required
• MN License - Preferred
• Local Candidates - Highly Preferred
