General Cardiologist (Cardiology)
Your day.
Join a rapidly growing group currently consisting of 9 cardiologists including general, interventional, and EP; 3 CT surgeons, and full APP support on the beautiful Western Slope of Colorado.
Responsibilities include a rotational inpatient rounding week, outpatient clinic, reading ECGs, echocardiograms, and nuclear studies along with performing cardioversions and transesophageal echos.
General call is equally shared and averages one night per week and one weekend per month.
Nonprofit healthcare system, Level II Trauma Center with 346 beds and a large referral area.
Full structural heart program including TAVR, Mitra-clip, Watchman and PFO closure, full EP support, advanced cardiac imaging with cardiac CT/CT-FFR established and cMRI.
Grand Junction, CO offers 320 days of sunshine a year and access to hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, and wineries. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts.

Compensation: our compensation is standard across all General Cardiologists in St. Mary’s Medical Group.
Annual Base Salary: $600,000
wRVU Bonus: Earn an additional $63 per wRVU over 9820 wRVUs
Quality Bonus: up to $25,000.00
Signing Bonus: $30,000
Relocation Bonus: $15,000
Student Loan Assistance: $75,000
Residency stipend available for qualified candidates completing training – up to $1500 per month for up to two years

Your experience
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology
1-2 years in cardiology practice preferred, new grads will also be considered
Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to successfully complete St. Mary’s credentialing process
