Section Head, Cardiac Imaging and Echocardiography
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $450000.00 - $500000.00

The University of Colorado, Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology seeks applications to join a dynamic academic program as the Section Head of Cardiac Imaging and Echocardiography. Candidates must be a BC/BE cardiologist with advanced imaging training and expertise to lead an integrated approach to cardiovascular imaging, training, and research.


Opportunity Highlights

  • Provide leadership and oversight for our multimodality cardiac imaging group (echocardiography, nuclear/PET, CT, and MRI)
  • Expand access and grow new cardiac imaging modalities in the Denver Metro region while influencing cardiac imaging across the Mountain West
  • Provide oversight to fellows in the general cardiology program related to imaging training and further mature an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship program
  • Drive progress in cardiac imaging research, including the development of the new $30M Center for Advanced Image Guidance
  • Be a part of University of Colorado Hospital, the No.1 hospital in Colorado, recognized for excellence in patient care, which is integrated with the larger UCHealth system
