ABOUT US:
We are virtual-first specialty provider for integrated, home-based cardiopulmonary testing, treatment, and patient monitoring for all risk-bearing entities. Our national network of cardiologists, pulmonologists, endocrinologists, and board-certified sleep medicine specialists are available as a virtual alternative to brick-and-mortar testing and treatment. One hundred FDA-registered and approved devices are available to support patients at home with full diagnostic monitoring and support, aiming to prevent re-hospitalizations and health exacerbations.
JOB OVERVIEW:
currently seeking an experienced, board-certified cardiologist to join our rapidly evolving Tele- Cardiology services team. A California and or Arizona state license is required, although a multistate license is *strongly* preferred.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
● Currently licensed in multiple states
● Board Certified in cardiology.
● Medical Doctor with 5 years of cardiology experience required.
● Hospital or ED experience is a plus.
● Federal DEA Certification; Medical Specialty License or Certification
● Experience navigating multiple EMR systems, strong technical skills, and experience with secure video conferencing.
● Ability to work 10 hours or more per month. Volume can increase based on shift availability.
Compensation varies. Hourly and shift pay available.
Job Responsibilities
The telemedicine cardiology job applicant must:
● Perform telemedicine cardiology consultations, manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
● Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to an assessed medical condition.
● Refer patients to other specialists and relevant patient care components as appropriate.
● Provide medical guidance to onsite nursing staff and
physician-to-physician consultation in the ED and on patient floors.
● Maintain working relationships with onsite medical providers engaged with inpatient care.
● Document patient interaction, diagnosis, treatment, etc. within the hospital’s EMR.
● Provide excellent bedside manner and communication skills remotely.
Qualifications
