**EP Cardiologist opening - Cooperstown, NY** **Position Details:** - Full-time, permanent - Hospital employed - Progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University The faculty practice consists of 15 cardiologists, 2 surgeons, and 18 advanced practice clinicians. The Bassett network includes over 400 employed practitioners.   Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and service to people living in an eight county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields.   This is a vibrant and sophisticated upstate community set in a bucolic lake front village affording four seasons of cultural and outdoor activity. We have an unparalleled sport center walking distance from the hospital, which includes three swimming pools, rock climbing, racquetball and squash courts   **Job Description & Responsibilities:** Provide clinical and consultative care within the hospital and office setting. Full range of noninvasive testing including MRI, CT, echo and nuclear cardiology. Busy noninvasive lab with over 10,000 echos and 2000 nuclear scans yearly, with dedicated reading time. To include: - Outpatient, Inpatient and Regional Patient Care - Integrated EPIC Electronic Health Record - Medical and Rural Surgery residency programs, Cardiology Fellowship - Faculty teaching of our cardiology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students - Night call twice monthly with fellow and resident support - Salary Range: $550,000 - $675,000.
