**Heart Failure Opening Near Boston, MA**
Located in Burlington, MA - Boston 17m
Seeking an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist to join our full-time cardiovascular faculty, to provide exceptional services in cardiovascular medicine with a focus on the diagnosis and management of advanced heart failure.
* Board Certification in cardiology and additional training in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation is required.
* The division is committed to our educational program, with fellowship training in electrophysiology, interventional cardiology and general cardiology.
* Full spectrum of heart failure patients, including an active inpatient heart failure service, and high-volume outpatient clinics, working with experienced Advanced Practitioners in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
* The team includes 3 board-certified Heart Failure specialists, 6 full-time dedicated heart failure APs, and two cardiac pharmacists.
* The Cardiomyopathy Center also leads multidisciplinary cardiac amyloidosis and cardiac sarcoidosis centers.
* The center has close collaboration with several Cardiac Transplant centers, and the position offers the opportunity to rotate on inpatient heart transplant services.
The successful candidate must be an outstanding and committed clinician, with a collaborative style, and excellent organizational and communication skills. They should have a primary interest in advanced heart failure diagnosis and management, critical care heart failure management including the management of mechanical circulatory support, but also with a willingness to actively participate in inpatient general cardiology and cardiac critical care. Mentoring of faculty, fellows, residents and medical students is expected, as is active participation in clinical trials and observational research studies.
