A well-respected Academic Medical Center in New Hampshire has an opening for a Director of the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy Program. This is an exciting opportunity to join an academic practice with approximately 40 full-time cardiologists, as well as clinical and research fellows! The candidate should have clinical proficiency and Board Certification in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology and a record of scholarly achievement and be eligible for or have achieved the rank of associate professor or higher.


About the opportunity:


  • Have administrative oversight and engage in its strategic development and growth; Should have leadership skills and experience
  • Work primarily on the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy Service at the Medical Center and will also have the option to attend 2-4 weeks per year at Tufts Medical Center, our partner transplant center
  • Essential role in the Cardiogenic Shock team, Pulmonary Hypertension Program, and Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) program
  • Additional responsibilities include an active role in the cardiac intensive care unit and inpatient services, outpatient medicine, teaching, and clinical research
  • Position holds an academic title at the School of Medicine commensurate with experience and academic portfolio; expected to engage in academic activities, including research and mentoring of learners, such as cardiovascular fellows, house staff, and students from the School of Medicine
  • Leading compensation and benefits packages, along with generous PTO and CME time
