Job Description
A well-respected Medical Center in New Hampshire is adding a Cardiologist with Critical Care Cardiology training and experience to join our academic practice of 40 Cardiologists. This position comprises rotations providing collaborative team-based care including cardiac anesthesiologists, critical care medicine, and cardiologists in a new co-management model
Practice Opportunity
- Clinical competencies include: management of mixed shock, multiorgan dysfunction, mechanical circulatory support, airway management, vascular access, pulmonary artery catheterization, bedside echocardiographic imaging, and the operation of bedside hemodynamic recording systems
- Understanding quality metrics, best practices, and protocols in the intensive care setting.
- This cardiologist supervises and is involved in teaching our excellent cardiovascular fellows, residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers
- We value the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in nursing, discharge planning, pharmacy
- The ideal candidate will have an academic interest in quality, patient safety, innovative healthcare delivery, or outcome research
- Those with an interest and aptitude for leadership or research will be considered for protected time for these pursuits
