One of the region's largest integrated networks of multidisciplinary physicians has an opening for an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist. Join an established and growing heart failure service at a 328-bed hospital that provides a broad range of cardiovascular care to a growing population, including Cardiothoracic Surgery, EP, etc. The Heart Failure clinician will work with cardiothoracic surgical and other colleagues to manage the growth of MCS services and work with advanced providers to support the development of a comprehensive Heart Failure evaluation and management program.

  • The position will be supported in a partnership with the Advanced Heart Failure Program at Tufts Medical Center
  • The Heart Failure clinician will be a full participant in activities of the Tufts Heart Failure Team, including up to 4 weeks of attending the in-patient LVAD/transplant/advanced heart failure service on-site at Tufts, potential participation in out-patient clinics, participation in all of the LVAD/transplant evaluation meetings and presenting local cases to the team following full local evaluation
  • The Cardiovascular Care Center provides tertiary level care in a community hospital setting that includes a high-volume catheterization and interventional program, advanced electrophysiology, structural heart including TAVR, mitral clip and watchman, high-volume cardiac surgery, and advanced vascular surgery
  • Busiest STEMI Center in the Southeastern Massachusetts region
  • Offering advanced non-invasive testing including TEE (supports structural program), echo, nuclear, cardiac CTA, and Cardiac MRI
