The VA Healthcare system in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Non- Invasive Cardiologist. This is an amazing opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our veterans.

Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center
The Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center is a 1.2 million square foot hospital and outpatient
facility inaugurated in 2018, serving Veterans in the Front Range of Colorado and the wider Rocky
Mountain region. The facility is immediately adjacent to the University of Colorado Anschutz
Medical Campus that contains the University of Colorado Hospital, Childrens Hospital of Colorado,
and the School of Medicine. Our facility is located approximately 15 miles from Denver
International Airport and 10 miles from Downtown Denver.

Position Highlights

  • Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment)
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • Provide evening, weekend, on-call and holiday coverage as needed.

Job functions

Seeking a dedicated professional for a multifaceted role in cardiovascular care:

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient consultative cardiovascular care.
  • Attend in non-invasive cardiology laboratories (echocardiography, stress testing, and/or advanced cardiac imaging)
  • Educate and supervise cardiovascular disease fellows, medical trainees, and advanced practice providers.
  • Experience in advanced heart failure management is a plus.
  • Lead or collaborate in basic, clinical, or health services research in cardiovascular disease.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
Preferred Experience
  • Clinical focus in heart failure; demonstrated accomplishments in research.
