Location: A vibrant city with a blend of history, culture, and natural beauty, making it an attractive place to live, work, and visit in upstate New York. Approximately 150 miles to Buffalo and 220 miles to New York City!
Facility: A regional hospital offering a wide range of medical services, including emergency care, surgery, oncology, pediatrics, cardiology, and maternity care.

Opportunity:
- Looking for a locum backfill Cardiologist to cover 1-2 weeks per month!
- Coverage schedule: 1-2 weeks per month. Must be available a full 7 days in a row.
- Weekly schedule: Monday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM, including night and weekend call
- Weekday hours: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Weekend call: Starts Friday at 4:30 PM and ends Monday at 7:00 AM.
- Evening call: Starts at 4:30 PM and ends the following morning at 7:30 AM.
- The provider would be in house Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:30pm, take call Monday-Friday for the night shift and then take weekend call through Monday morning.
- Average inpatient admissions per physician per day: Approximately 10, depending on inpatient consults.
- Total number of beds: 256.
- Number of ICU beds: 20.
- Cardiologists in the group: 3 non-invasive cardiologists.
- Other cardiologists will be present during locum coverage.
- Locum physician will supervise residents and medical students.
- Patient age demographic: 18 years and older.
- Documentation system/EMR: Currently Flex and Merge Cardio.
- Required procedures: Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, Electrocardiograms (EKGs), and stress echo.
