Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular evaluations: Utilize non-invasive diagnostic testing and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Provide lifestyle modification counseling: Guide patients on diet, exercise, and stress management to promote long-term cardiovascular health.
Monitor and manage chronic heart conditions: Manage patients with hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and early-stage heart disease, helping them achieve optimal outcomes through preventive care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: Work closely with primary care physicians, nurses, and other specialists to create holistic patient care plans.
Patient education and advocacy: Educate patients on heart disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle changes.
Stay current on preventive cardiology trends: Participate in continuous education to stay up-to-date on the latest research and advances in preventive cardiology.
Qualifications
Fellowship training or expertise in preventive cardiology and non-invasive cardiology
Valid and Unrestricted Florida Medical License (or ability to obtain)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Experience or strong interest in preventive cardiology and promoting heart-healthy lifestyle interventions
Commitment to patient-centered care with a focus on education and prevention
Experience working with senior populations preferred but not required
