Job Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care: Conduct detailed consultations, non-invasive diagnostic testing (EKGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, etc.), and create personalized treatment plans to manage cardiovascular diseases.

Monitor and manage chronic heart conditions: Treat and follow up with patients with heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, and other cardiovascular conditions to ensure long-term health improvement.

Patient Education and Advocacy: Provide clear, compassionate communication to educate patients about their heart health, treatment options, and preventive care strategies, empowering them to take control of their cardiovascular wellness.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care doctors, nurses, and other specialists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

Utilize advanced diagnostic technologies: Interpret and analyze results from a variety of non-invasive testing methods, applying the latest advancements in cardiology to deliver high-quality care.

Maintain strong patient relationships: Build trust and long-term relationships with patients through consistent follow-up and ongoing support in managing cardiovascular health.

Stay updated on the latest cardiovascular research: Continuously enhance your knowledge of the latest non-invasive cardiology techniques and evidence-based practices to provide cutting-edge care.

Qualifications

Fellowship Training in Non-Invasive Cardiology: Demonstrated expertise in non-invasive cardiac procedures such as echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and stress testing.

Valid and Unrestricted Florida Medical License (or ability to obtain): Current licensure to practice medicine in Florida or the ability to secure one before the start of employment.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification: Current certification in ACLS to ensure readiness in handling acute cardiovascular emergencies.

Proficiency in Non-Invasive Diagnostic Procedures: Strong clinical skills in conducting and interpreting EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and other non-invasive diagnostic tests.

Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary medical team, offering compassionate care and clear education.

Commitment to Ongoing Education and Research: Passion for staying up to date with advancements in cardiology through continuing education and research.

Strong Ethical and Professional Standards: Commitment to patient-centered care, confidentiality, and maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.

Experience with Senior and Geriatric Populations: Experience or interest in working with a predominantly senior population, with a deep understanding of age-related cardiovascular conditions.

Monday to Friday 8:00-5:00 pm
