A healthcare network in Connecticut is currently seeking a new, licensed Cardiologist to join their growing team as their new Cardiologist.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday - 1 week/month December - March, ongoing
  • Hours: 8am to 4:30pm
  • Call: No callbacks - 24 hour call
  • Number of Rooms: 10 Exam rooms (with potential for 2 additional)
  • Office Staff: 1 F/T RN (2 filling this position), 6 MA's, 1 Medical Secretary, 1 Scheduling Support person

Responsibilities:

The Cardiologist will treat the following conditions/procedures (high volume of congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease and tachycardia, but see all coronary conditions):

  • HTN
  • Palpitations
  • CHF
  • CAD
  • Hyperlipidemia
  • Bradycardia/Tachycardia/elevated heart rates
  • Syncope/dizziness/LOC
  • Atrial Fibrillation
  • Atrial Flutter
  • Arrhythmia
  • TEE's
  • Cardioversion's
  • Stress Tests
  • Echocardiograms

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut
  • Board Eligible / Certified
  • Active DEA registration
  • MD or DO
