Specialty: Cardiology
• Support staff: 3 other cardiologists
• Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-time with call rotation
• Patients per day: 16
• Patient population/age:
• Department description:
• EMR: Office EMR is EClinicalWorks, Hospital is Cerner
• Hospital bed size: 220 beds
• Special procedures: echos and nuclear testing, not required but highly preferred
• Board Certification: required
• State license: required – they will not license
• DEA: MD DEA required
• CSR: required
• Certifications required: ACLS. BLS
Clinic and hospital coverage – 8am – 5pm – they will take practice call one in every 4-5 days, and hospital call every 8th week. When they are on hospital call, they take phone calls at night for the hospital and ED (they do not need to come in), and will round during the day on admissions and respond to consults. They will have a reduced office schedule on the weeks they are on hospital call.
