We are seeking a Locum Non-Invasive Cardiologist in Durango, CO. The schedule includes Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM onsite, with offsite night call on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The setting encompasses clinic, call, and inpatient services at a Trauma Level III facility. The position is part-time with an FTE of 0.5, utilizing the EPIC EMR system.

Responsibilities include providing consultative cardiology services for hospital inpatients and conducting urgent patient visits in the clinic. Experience with Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Cardioversion procedures is advantageous.

The patient population served includes adults and geriatrics, with the facility accommodating 82 beds. On average, there are 8-10 consults per day.

Qualification:

· Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited medical school.

· Completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease or Cardiology, focusing on non-invasive cardiology.

· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

· Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

· A valid medical license to practice medicine in the state of Colorado.
