Large nonprofit health system in the Western Region seeking an OBGYN to join their team.
About the opportunity:
- Start Date: 7/15/24
- Location: Montana
- Schedule: Roughly eight (8) 24-hour shifts and two (2) 8-hour clinic shifts while taking 24-hour call.
- Average patient per shift: on call, varies - clinic 5-10 per shift
- Deliveries per year: 190
Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage in the Emergency Room (ER) for obstetric and gynecological emergencies.
- Conduct inpatient consultations for obstetric and gynecological conditions.
- Perform laparoscopy procedures for diagnosis and treatment of gynecological conditions.
- Conduct Dilation and Curettage (D&C) procedures as needed.
- Provide routine and complex prenatal care for pregnant patients.
- Perform vaginal deliveries for low-risk pregnancies.
- Manage pregnancies, including monitoring maternal and fetal health throughout gestation.
- Perform Cesarean sections (C-sections) when indicated for safe delivery.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- MT License
