General Non-Invasive Cardiologist – Denver and surrounding areas

About this role:

Intermountain Health's Denver Cardiology team is looking to fill several General Non-Invasive Cardiology positions in the Denver are in 2025. Our team consists of over 50 Cardiology Physicians and APPs across 4 hospitals.

  • High priority locations:
    • Good Samaritan Medical Center – Lafayette, CO
    • Platte Valley Medical Center – Brighton, CO
    • Lutheran Medical Center – Wheat Ridge, CO
  • Your hours will be Mon-Fri ~8am-5pm
  • This position consists of mostly clinic hours with three ½ days of inpatient rounding and consults
  • Ability to read Nuc, Echo, and CCTA are necessary
  • Call is 1:18 for primary practice phone call at all 4 hospitals in the Denver area

How we'll support you:

Compensation: Our competitive compensation consists of a initial base salary of $450,000 plus a wRVU bonus incentive for the first two years. The standard salary in year three is $415,000 plus the wRVU bonus incentive. More details about this will be explained in your first recruiter interview. Additionally, there is up to a $50,000 annual quality bonus. We are also offering a $25,000 starting bonus. A relocation bonus is also available if applicable.

What you’ll bring:

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Residency trained and Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Will consider new fellows
  • Ability to perform TEEs and read Nuc, Echo, and CCTA imaging
  • Ability to read cardiac MRI is a plus

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
