A nationally recognized organization, seeks a General Cardiologist to join us in Tennessee. Our renowned institute offers comprehensive cardiovascular care, serving the Ballad Health system's major facilities with regional offices in northeast TN and southwest VA. Our forward-thinking team comprises 50+ physicians and surgeons, alongside 40+ Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), specializing collectively in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging, electrophysiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular surgery.
Seeking a qualified General Cardiologist for our Bristol, Tennessee location. Both invasive non-interventional and non-invasive cardiologists are encouraged to apply. This role involves work primarily at Medical Center and our adjacent clinic. Sole hospital for Bristol, TN and surrounding areas, offers comprehensive medical care. With 312 beds, it's a level III trauma center, featuring an adult and pediatric emergency department, and a diverse range of medical experts across specialties.
Job Responsibilities
- Advanced cardiac support devices available including Impella and IABP
- Noninvasive lab performs stress tests, echocardiograms, TEEs, and nuclear MPI stress tests
- On-Site CHF clinic with CardioMems remote monitoring services
- Experienced APPs for clinic and hospital-based support
- Advanced Imaging Department with CT and nuclear MPI stress test capability
- Onsite cardiac surgery by CVA physician partners
- Referral opportunities for vascular surgery and structural heart interventions
