The Heart and Vascular Center of Excellence of Wake Forest School of Medicine is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position focused on multimodality imaging in the section of General Cardiology. Candidates with a particular interest and/or specialty training in multimodality imaging are preferred. Candidates will have the opportunity to collaborate with expert faculty and develop or build upon a clinical focus in cardiac CT and/or cardiac MRI. Dedicated time spent in the echocardiography laboratory reading transthoracic and performing transesophageal studies will compliment the CT or MRI reading and make this position an ideal structural imaging role. If interested, there is also opportunity to get involved with procedural transesophageal imaging.
There will be ample opportunities for academic endeavors including clinical research and education, and the position includes the prospect of working with numerous clinical and research fellows in addition to residents and medical students if interested. Candidates should be at least Level 2 trained in the performance and interpretation of transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms in addition to one other imaging modality. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.

- Fellowship trained
- Successful record of clinical and service excellence, research experience, and interest in graduate medical education
- North Carolina licensure or eligible
