Join Our Team as a Non-Invasive Cardiologist!
We are seeking an additional Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our collaborative Cardiology service line at a well-established 127-bed Level III Trauma facility located in the scenic Coos Bay, Oregon. This hospital serves as the largest healthcare provider on the Southern Coast of Oregon, catering to a catchment area of over 320,000 and showcasing a strong commitment to community excellence and comprehensive cardiac care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Rotate through the clinic from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Participate in shared on-call duties, including Echo rotations that involve weekend readings.
- Provide Non-Invasive cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Perform evaluations, manage patient care, and interpret EKGs, Echocardiography, and Cardiac Nuclear Imaging.
- Collaborate with a high-caliber, collegial team and support NP/PA staff in patient care.
- Engage in outreach services to local critical access hospitals as needed.
- Conduct patient examinations and maintain thorough medical records.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health and treatment plans.
- Participate in physicians’ meetings and policy formation within the practice.
- Maintain current licensure and certifications while demonstrating commitment to professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology (Non-Invasive).
- Fellowship-trained in Cardiology.
- Oregon medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- Demonstrated ties to Oregon, such as family in the area or having lived in Oregon.
- Nuclear and Echo certification is highly preferred.
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
- All candidates must hold a valid Oregon license or demonstrate intention to acquire one.
- Board certification in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology is mandatory.
- Candidates must provide proof of fellowship training in Cardiology.
