We are seeking a dedicated Non-Invasive Inpatient Cardiologist to join our team for a full-time position, through July 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, team-based environment, providing high-quality inpatient care alongside APPs and other physicians. This position includes inpatient rounding, cardiology consults, and diagnostic testing such as stress tests and echocardiogram interpretations.

Job Responsibilities

Perform inpatient rounding and manage cardiology consults alongside APP providers.
Supervise and interpret stress tests, EKGs, holter/event monitors, and echocardiograms.
Respond to APP calls via telephone or pager.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient care excellence.
Participate in weekend inpatient rounding
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner Powerchart and EPIC systems

Qualifications

Board Certified in Cardiology.
Active Pennsylvania medical license required.
DEA license required.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiology.

Working Hours

Full-time position: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Weekend inpatient rounding required only on December 28 and 29, 2024.
No on-call duties expected.

Skills

Expertise in non-invasive cardiology procedures and diagnostics.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage a high volume of inpatient cases (average of 20-25 per day).
Proficiency in using Cerner Powerchart and EPIC EMR systems preferred.
