This prestigious academic health system in a vibrant and sophisticated community in Central New York is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join their esteemed staff. The role will include diagnostic catheterization, coronary interventions, and an outpatient clinical practice. Candidates with interest in TEE, coronary CT, or starting a PERT program would be welcomed.
Hospital Employee, Traditional. Competitive Annual Salary. Teaching program with two new Cardiology fellows each year. Sign-on bonus up to $100,000. Ideal candidate is Board Eligible/Board Certified in ABIM Cardiovascular Disease. Integrated EPIC electronic health record. Cardiac cath labs have a busy schedule of diagnostic and interventional coronary cases, as well as structural heart disease including percutaneous aortic valve replacement (TAVR), left atrial appendage closure, and patent foramen ovale closure. Paid time off, including vacations and holidays. CME time and money. Paid malpractice, medical, dental and vision insurance, moving allowance and retirement plan. Cardiac cath lab with STEMI and structural program. Electrophysiology program with full range of device implantation and ablation programs . Medical school campus in conjunction with Columbia University and active teaching program. Medical and rural surgery residency programs, Cardiology fellowship available. Interventional call is currently one in three with a goal of four full-time Interventionalists.
