We are seeking a Cardiologist for a group practice opportunity near the St Louis area. From a practice standpoint, this opportunity would be considered a general cardiology practice blending outpatient and inpatient cardiology services. This opportunity can support a non-invasive, invasive non-interventional or interventional cardiologist. The Physician Team The office is currently comprised of 3 Interventionalists. The office serves one hospital . The clinic is conveniently located within the hospital?s campus and provides the full array of in-office testing. The team also serves outreach clinics. The hospital is a 265-bed community hospital. Weekend and Weekday Call Weekday and weekend call is shared equitably among the physicians. Weekend call starts on Friday evening through Monday morning. Weekday Off In hopes of balancing work and home life, all physicians receive an afternoon off during the week. Because Mondays and Fridays are usually ?wild,? off afternoons are generally assigned Tuesday through Thursday. Expected Work Schedule It is my understanding that the average work week would be approximately 50-55 hours per week (Mon-Fri) with the work week divided between am and pm slots. I envision the weekly work schedule to be 4 slots clinic and 5 slots hospital (the remaining 10th slot is the pre-assigned afternoon off as referenced above). Holidays Holidays shall be worked in equitable proportion with the other (full time) physicians Shareholder Track Historically, our track to shareholder status is at the completion of year three. However, please know that shareholder status refers largely to voting status within the Group. When most candidates ask about shareholder track, they are usually curious about the timeline as to when they begin to earn profits from their site. Please know compensation in year one is a guaranteed salary with fixed quarterly bonuses. Participation in the site?s profit or bonus pool begins year two and reaches maximum potential very quickly.
