Job Opening: Interventional Cardiologist

The practice is seeking a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist for an urgent long-term assignment. The hospital features state-of-the-art equipment, including two cath labs and modern exam rooms, allowing for a comprehensive approach to cardiovascular health.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide coverage for interventional cardiology needs from 7 AM on April 28 to 7 AM on May 5.
• Conduct consultations for unassigned cardiology inpatients.
• Perform procedures as credentialed within the cath lab.
• Participate in a team setting with two full-time interventional cardiologists and support staff.
• Respond to stemi calls and provide consultative services.
• Oversee patient care in a high-volume environment with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Interventional Cardiology.
• Eligibility for temporary hospital privileges.
• Fellowship training in interventional cardiology is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to care.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active medical license (required).
• Board certification must be maintained throughout the assignment.
