Interventional Cardiologist – Weekend Call Coverage

Job Description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for part-time weekend call coverage. This role involves inpatient rounding, urgent STEMI cases, and interventional procedures. Elective and outpatient cases are handled during the week.

Coverage Details

• Weekend Call Coverage: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 8:00 AM
• Shifts per Month: 3 (Dates TBD)
• Hospital Coverage (Future Dates TBD): Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Emergent cases only after 5:30 PM)
• Estimated STEMI Cases per Month: 20
• Response Time Requirement: 30 minutes to hospital

Provider Requirements

• Board Status: Board Certified
• Licensure: Active Maryland License or IMLC
• Experience: Minimum 2 years post-fellowship
• Certifications Required: ACLS, DEA, CSR License
• On-Call: Yes (In-House, Telephone, Beeper)

• Support Staff: Non-invasive cardiologist available, APP coverage on weekdays
• EMR: EPIC
• Travel and lodging provided
