IT Cardiology Opening in Downtown Nashville, TN -Full Time & Permanent Position. Key Responsibilities: -Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and other catheter-based procedures. -Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including general cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care. -Evaluate patients with coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, and other cardiovascular conditions, providing appropriate interventional treatments. -Interpret diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, stress tests, and echocardiograms, to formulate treatment plans. -Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency interventional cardiology services, including management of ST-elevation myocardial infarctions (STEMI). -Provide pre-procedural and post-procedural patient care and consultation. -Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular disease prevention, treatment options, and post-procedure recovery. -Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and stay current with the latest advancements in interventional cardiology. Preferred Qualifications: -Experience in structural heart disease interventions (e.g., TAVR, MitraClip) is a plus. -Active involvement in clinical research or teaching.
