Locum Tenens Interventional/General Cardiologist

Location: Cheyenne, WY
Duration: January 2025 - June 2025 (1-week assignments at a time)
Schedule: 7a - 7a Inpatient Call

Position Overview

Seeking a skilled Locum Tenens Interventional/General Cardiologist to provide coverage for inpatient call. The ideal candidate will hold expertise in interventional cardiology and have the ability to manage a variety of cardiac cases in a Trauma Level III environment.

Position Details

• Start Date: January 2025 (Credentialing takes 30-45 days)
• Provider Type: MD/DO
• Call Schedule: 24-hour inpatient call (7a - 7a)
• Setting: Inpatient
• Patient Load: Varies depending on day and case volume
• Fellowship: Interventional Cardiology (Required)
• Licenses/Certifications: Current CDS and DEA required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional cardiology procedures (specifics to be discussed during the interview)
• Manage inpatient cardiac care in a hospital-based setting
• Respond promptly to call requirements

Requirements

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology
• Active CDS and DEA certifications
• Experience in a Trauma Level III facility preferred
