Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures to treat patients with cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and peripheral vascular disease.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as angiograms, echocardiograms, and electrocardiograms.
  • Provide consultation and recommendations for patients requiring interventional cardiology care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including procedure notes and progress reports.
  • Stay current on the latest advancements in interventional cardiology and continuously develop your skills.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about treatment options, lifestyle changes, and recovery.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required by the department.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the department’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

Board Certified Interventional Cardiology - Required
Active CO License - Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission)
Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
Residency Requirements/Fellowship – Required
Minimum 2 years' experience - Required
Must disclose # of shift per month the provider can offer to the team ongoing - Required
Must be available for dates listed in job description to be considered for ongoing dates - Required
Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date - Required
