Bon Secours in the beautiful coastal Hampton Roads/Tidewater Region of Virginia -

is adding an Interventional Cardiologist to our growing team!

This full-time Interventionalist position will provide access to care for our patients in the region at two practice locations: Harbour View/North Suffolk and Norfolk/Ghent.

As a part of our team, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • STEMI Coverage
  • Hospital Rounding
  • Ambulatory Clinic patients
  • Stress test supervision
  • Cardiac test reading including echocardiograms, nuclear testing and EKGs.
  • Coronary Intervention, Peripheral Vascular Intervention, High Risk PCI and Impella pumps

We are seeking a Fellowship Trained Physician with Nuclear and Echo Reading experience

Must have Cardiac Cath and non-invasive Vascular reading experience

Strong preference for 3 to 5 years+ of experience in high-volume practice

Candidates must have completed a U.S.-based Residency Program, and be Board Eligible or Board Certified by ABMS/ABIM in Interventional Cardiology and General Cardiology

Current, unrestricted, Virginia State license or eligible for Virginia licensure

Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S.

  • Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30
  • Patients are all adult/geriatric - approx 25 per day average
  • Current Call schedule is 1:5
  • STEMI coverage rotation is 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM weekdays and assigned STEMI weekends are Fri 5:00 PM to Mon 7:00 AM - Rounding at the hospital.
  • EPIC EMR and MyChart for virtual health as appropriate
  • Practice Support from experienced APC, CMA and PSA
  • Teaching opportunities are available through students rotating through the practice
  • Ancillary Services: PT/INR and Pacemaker clinic
  • Mentorship available
