Locums – London, Kentucky, Interventional Cardiology Job (IMLC Accepted)

• Jan 16-20 (ending 21 am)
• Feb 3-9 (ending 2/10 am)
• March 3-9 (ending 3/10 am)
• March 17-23 (ending 3/24 am)
• April 14-16 (ending 5pm 4/16)
• April 27 5pm-May 1 (ending 5pm 5/1)
• May 5-11 (ending 5/12 7am)
• May 16 5pm-May 21 (ending 5/21 5pm)
• June 2-12 (ending 5pm 6/12)
• June 16-30 (ending 7/1 am)
• July 1-31 (ending 8/1 am)
• 7 on/7 off schedule, however, have some gaps in January
• This would be in the hospital setting only and the provider would also take general and interventional call 24/7
• Weekdays roughly 8 hrs. onsite. Weekends roughly 6 hrs onsite
• Setting: Inpatient only
• Duties: Rounding, consults, interpreting stress/echo’s, STEMI call backs, Cath Lab procedures
• Required Procedures: Cardiac Cath both diagnostic and interventional, Echo’s, EKGs, Stress Tests, STEMI, and support outpatient catheterization
• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: APC for cardiology
• Resources: - PCI w/o surgical backup facility
• Reason for Coverage: Need to add providers to pool and provider coming up on 1 year
• There are 14-20 ICU beds
• There can be up to 20 patients on the Cardiology service; however, we have APCs that round and assist
• Board Certified IC Required
• KY State License – Required or IMLC Accepted
• ACLS, BLS and DEA - Required
