Job Overview:
We are seeking a Full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing team at the Advanced Cardiovascular Center in Goodyear, Arizona. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced cardiologist or a candidate directly out of fellowship to provide comprehensive cardiology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Position Details:

• Start Date: Between January 2025 and August 2025
• Call Schedule: ER call 5-7 days per month, 1:4 weekends
• Visa: J1-visa eligible (H1B visa is not available)

Responsibilities:

• Inpatient Rounding and Outpatient Clinic management
• Interpretation of non-invasive studies including:
  • EKG
  • Echo
  • Stress Test
  • Nuclear Medicine Stress
  • Vascular Ultrasound
  • Event Monitors and Holters
• Perform interventional cardiology procedures including:
  • Emergency and elective angioplasty and stenting
  • Diagnostic heart catheterization

Candidate Requirements:

• State License: Active Arizona State License
• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible (Certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency)
• Vaccinations:
  • Flu vaccination: Required or medical/religious exemption
  • Covid vaccination: Required or medical/religious exemption
• Certifications:
  • ACLS (AHA issued)
  • BLS (AHA issued)
• Fellowship: Must have completed a 1-year fellowship in Interventional Cardiology
• Vascular skills are a plus
