Interventional Cardiologist Opportunity in Sulphur Springs, TX Position Details:

  • Type: Full-time, permanent
  • Role: Seeking two Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologists to establish a new practice location in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
  • Staffing Model: Includes a Cardiology Advanced Practice Clinician, full office staff including clerical and front office support, medical assistants, and nursing staff, managed by an experienced administrative team.
  • Coverage: The physician/APC team will provide 24/7 hospital coverage. STEMI coverage will be coordinated by the local cardiology department, with after-hours and weekend cases eligible for transfer to other system facilities.
Facility Highlights: Hospital: 94-bed community hospital with a busy 24/7 physician-staffed emergency room. Cath Lab: Fully equipped cardiac Cath lab with capabilities for invasive diagnostic and interventional coronary procedures and device implants. Additional Services: Includes a critical care unit, full hospitalist model, and non-invasive capabilities such as echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. About the Clinic and Health System: Network: Joining one of Texas's largest multispecialty clinics, part of a not-for-profit system with over 1,400 clinicians, including more than 50 cardiologists and APCs, and 7 hospitals serving over 10 communities.
