Location: A city located on the western shore of Michigan's Lower Peninsula, along Lake Michigan. It’s known for its beautiful waterfront, recreational opportunities, and a rich history connected to the shipping and manufacturing industries. 45 miles to Grand Rapids!

Facility: A healthcare facility providing a range of medical services to the local community, including emergency care, inpatient care, surgical services, diagnostic imaging, and specialized care in areas such as cardiology, orthopedics, and oncology.

Opportunity:
  • Looking for TWO Interventional Cardiologist locum to perm physicians to Alternate weeks with each other to fill their Locum/Locum to Perm need!
  • Dates of Coverage: January 2025 - June 2025 with possible extension while recruiting additional providers
  • Schedule: Seven days on seven days off 7a-5p M-Thursday and 24 hour call Friday - Sunday
  • Call Schedule: Friday-Sunday 24 hour call
  • Practice Setting: In patient coverage for weekday STEMI call. Monday -Thursday 7a-5p. Then weekend call Friday-Sunday 24-hour STEMI call. During the week M-F assist with rounding and consults but mainly responsible for any inpatient procedures and cover STEMI support
  • Average 6 consults per day. In-patient rounding list averages 24 patients per day. Average 3 procedures per day.
  • Trauma Level/Designation: Level II
  • Total Number of Beds: 348
  • Number of ICU Beds: 30
  • Number of Interventional Cardiologists in Group: 5
  • Other Interventional Cardiologists be Present During our Locum's Coverage: Yes
  • Locum Physician Required to Supervise Other Health Care Providers: Yes, 2 APPs assisting during rounding. Their evaluation and supervision will be responsibility of practice leaders.
