We are seeking a skilled Interventional Cardiology Physician for a Locums to Perm position in Muskegon, MI. This role offers a structured seven-day-on, seven-day-off schedule, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday, followed by 24-hour call coverage from Friday to Sunday.
In this role, the physician will provide inpatient care, focusing on STEMI call coverage during both weekdays and weekends. During the week, responsibilities include rounding and consults, with a primary focus on inpatient procedures and STEMI support. The daily routine involves managing a rounding list of approximately 24 patients, conducting an average of six consults, and performing around three procedures each day. Procedures essential for this position include balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), heart catheterization, and coronary angiograms. The patient demographic primarily includes adult and geriatric patients, with full OB services available. This Level II trauma facility houses 348 beds, including a 30-bed ICU.
Requirements:
· Certification: ACLS, Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
· License: Active Michigan medical license
