We are seeking a Board Certified Interventional Cardiology Physician for a locum tenens position in Coos Bay, Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established cardiovascular team that provides a wide range of interventional and general cardiology services.
In this role, your responsibilities will include seeing inpatient hospital patients, managing clinic patients, rotating into the cardiac catheterization lab, and covering imaging rotations. You will also participate in a shared call rotation for both general and interventional cardiology, including weekend coverage. During the week, you will work day shifts, rotating between inpatient care, clinic duties, and procedural work in the cath lab. While there are no specific weekend shift hours, you will be expected to share on-call duties for both general and interventional cardiology services on weekends.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine (required)
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology or Certificate of Added Qualification in Interventional Cardiology by the AOBIM (required)
- Active Oregon license or willingness to obtain (required)
- Minimum of 2 years' work experience as an Interventional Cardiologist (required)
