Locums – London, Kentucky, Interventional Cardiology Job (IMLC Accepted) Clinical Role:

  • Coverage Dates:
    • Dec 26 7am-Jan 10 ending 5pm
    • Jan 13 7am-Jan 16 ending 5pm
    • Jan 20 7am-Jan 24 ending 5pm
  • Ongoing through 2025, ~15-20 open days/month (will have Feb-June dates in the next month or so)
  • This would be in the hospital setting only and provider would also take general and interventional call 24/7
  • Weekdays roughly 8 hrs. onsite. Weekends roughly 6 hrs. onsite
  • Setting: Inpatient only
  • Duties: Rounding, consults, interpreting stress/echos, STEMI call backs, Cath Lab procedures
  • Required Procedures: Cardiac Cath both diagnostic and interventional, Echos, EKGs, Stress Tests
  • EMR: Epic
  • Support Staff: APC for cardiology
  • Resources: - PCI w/o surgical backup facility
  • Open ICU and a strong hospitalist program. There are 14-20 ICU beds
  • # of Admissions per day: There can be up to 20 patients on the Cardiology service; however, we have APCs that round and assist
  • Board Certified IC Required
  • KY State License – Required or IMLC Accepted
