Locums – Lehi, Utah, Interventional Cardiology Opening Clinical Role:

    • Coverage needed is 24-hour STEMI call coverage
    • Shifts are 7a-7a
      • Dec 23 (7a) - 29 (7a)
      Details:
      • 24-hour STEMI call coverage 7a-7a
      • Sporadic dates need
    • Looking for a provider to start as soon as credentialing (2-3 weeks)
    • Setting: Inpatient, Call, Emergency Room
    • Level 4 Trauma
    • FTE: 1
    • Required Procedures/Job Duties: Left and right heart caths, coronary angioplasty/stents, balloon pump/impella, transesophageal Echo, pacemakers
    • Call: STEMI & General Cardiology
    • Average of 5 STEMIs per month / Average of 60 STEMIs per year
    • No surgery back up, average around 20 caths per month
    • EMR: EPIC
    • Support Staff: Echo Tech, Lab Tech, RN, X-ray Tech, Nuclear Tech
    • Reason for Coverage: Backfilling retiring provider while a full-time replacement is recruited
    • EMR Required Training:
    • Module (learn lessons) – Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training
    • EMR Virtual training – Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual training must be completed prior to the providers first day
    • Board Certified Interventional Cardiology - Required
    • Active UT license - Required - willing to consider non licensed provider
    • Active BLS - Required for Credentialing
    • Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
